Pre-Treatment
A 7-Stage pre-treatment involves Manual Cleaning, Soak Cleaning, Anodic De-greasing, Cascade Rinsing, Pickling/ De-Rusting, Cascade Rinsing, and Ultrasonic Cleaning which ensures the surface free from any foreign impurities before plating, qualifying water break free test enhancing plating quality.
Process Strengths
RoHS/ REACH Compliance.
All baths are meticulously monitored and maintained for required temperature, bath density, pH, and TDS.
Chillers to keep chemical bath temperatures under 25 Deg C.
Hull-Cell Analysis
100% use of De-mineralized water
Continuous Filteration of Chemical baths.
Regular chemical titrations are done in order to ensure quality and consistency in the processes.
Compressed Air Drying
Post-plating Oven Baking
Hydrogen De-embrittlement
Water Break Test
As per ASTM-F22, the water break test assesses pre-treated surfaces, ensuring treatment efficacy before plating. After the pre-treatment process (cleaning), water application reveals surface wettability. An even spread indicates effective treatment, facilitating proper adhesion for plating. Uneven water distribution signals areas needing pre-treatment rework before the plating process.
Product Inspection
In-Process and Pre-Delivery Inspections are performed to identify and eliminate any defects so that customers receive the desired consistency in size and quality of all the products. Coating Thickness is measured as per ASTM B 499.
Bend Test
As per ASTM B571, the post-plating bend test assesses the integrity of plated materials by subjecting them to controlled bending. It evaluates coating adhesion and durability, ensuring the absence of cracks or detachment. This test validates the plated material's strength, confirming compliance with quality and performance standards.
Salt Spray Testing
Salt Spray Testing is performed in-house per ASTM B117 to ensure the part life as per the design requirements. Reports are generated and shared with customers regularly.
Cross Cut Tape Test
As per ASTM D3359 a specified adhesive tape is applied to a coated surface, and then swiftly removing it to assess the adhesion. The test helps evaluate the coating's bond strength and its resistance to detachment, aiding in quality assessment and durability evaluation.
